Introducing Brivo for CourtReserve: Safer Facility Management Designed for Tennis and Pickleball Clubs

Brivo integration with CourtReserve

Managing access to your courts and facilities just got a whole lot smarter. Today, we’re excited to announce our latest partnership with Brivo, a leading access control and facility management platform.

This integration is designed to give tennis and pickleball clubs unmatched security, efficiency, and convenience—all seamlessly managed through your existing CourtReserve platform.

With the CourtReserve Brivo integration, you can effortlessly control who accesses your courts, facilities, and amenities—whether it’s players, staff, or guests. This means no more juggling keys, manual check-ins, or worrying about facility security. Instead, you’ll enjoy streamlined operations, enhanced player experiences, and the peace of mind that comes with secure, remote access control.

“No matter the size of your club, the Brivo x CourtReserve integration helps you unlock new levels of security and efficiency.”

– Tim Owens, Co-Founder, CourtReserve

But it’s not just about security. Powerful automation is the key to reducing operational headaches, increasing staff productivity, and creating seamless experiences for your members. Traditionally, managing facility access meant dealing with complex systems, time-consuming manual tasks, and coordination challenges—especially for clubs with multiple locations.

That’s why we built this integration – It’s your mission control for facility access.

Directly from your CourtReserve dashboard, you can:

  • Grant or revoke access in real time based on bookings or membership status
  • Automate PIN codes for players with reservations—no staff intervention needed
  • Monitor access activity to enhance security and accountability
  • Simplify operations for unattended facilities, HOAs, and multi-site clubs

Brivo for CourtReserve pricing:

  • Start & Grow Plans: $25/month
  • Scale & Enterprise Plans: Included

(Note: For organizations on legacy pricing plans prior to June 1, 2024, this integration will be $25/month.)

In addition to the CourtReserve integration fee, clubs will need to cover Brivo’s API subscription and any hardware or installation costs. Brivo’s onboarding process will connect you with a local lock dealer to ensure the best setup for your facility.

(0:06) hello there this is Josh with court
(0:08) reserve and this video is going to go
(0:11) over our Access Control integration with
(0:13) Breo this video is going to go over the
(0:16) integration on a higher level but we do
(0:19) have two articles going over this
(0:21) integration in our knowledge base so if
(0:23) you would like some more information
(0:25) feel free to click the book icon in the
(0:27) top right corner and if you do have any
(0:29) additional questions also feel free to
(0:31) reach out to our customer success team
(0:33) by clicking this green icon right here
(0:36) how the Breo integration works is once
(0:39) you have added your API key into your
(0:41) organization a six-digit pin code is
(0:44) going to be generated for each player
(0:46) that has an account in your organization
(0:49) Breo does have a few different ways to
(0:51) give players access they do offer Access
(0:54) Control cards and a Brio mobile app but
(0:57) those will not be offered in this
(0:59) integration with court Reserve so
(1:01) players will only be able to use their
(1:03) six-digit pin code in order to get
(1:06) access once you have added your API key
(1:08) and you are on the setup page you will
(1:10) be able to create rules that will allow
(1:13) you to decide when a player should or
(1:16) should not be able to use their pin code
(1:18) in order to gain access to your facility
(1:21) or to a building so to get started with
(1:23) enabling this additional feature we’ll
(1:26) want to go to settings on the sidebar
(1:28) and on the bottom row the additional
(1:30) features row we can go to the additional
(1:33) features page and navigate down to the
(1:36) integration section once we enable the
(1:38) access control integration we will have
(1:41) the setup page here and if we go back to
(1:43) the additional features page we will
(1:45) also now have the access control page
(1:47) from this row as well once we click on
(1:50) that page we are going to be able to
(1:52) select our provider so once we select
(1:55) Breo here we will now be able to add our
(1:58) API key if you need any assistance with
(2:01) receiving your API key from Breo we do
(2:03) have a link to an article here going
(2:06) over how you can get the API key during
(2:09) your onboarding process so feel free to
(2:11) check that out or reach out to Breo if
(2:14) you have any questions there but now let
(2:16) me go ahead and add my API key and then
(2:18) I can briefly go over the setup page
(2:21) once we have added our API key we will
(2:24) now see four tabs on the setup page here
(2:26) we’ll see groups rules PIN codes and a
(2:29) errors on the groups page we just need
(2:32) to click the discovery button what this
(2:34) is going to do is this is going to grab
(2:37) all of your groups from Breo and add
(2:40) them into court reserve and these groups
(2:42) are going to be those access points that
(2:45) members will be going to when they are
(2:47) trying to access your facility Breo will
(2:50) make sure that this all gets set up on
(2:52) the Breo side so that this is all
(2:54) working correctly by the time you have
(2:57) added your API key for this integration
(3:00) the next tab here is going to be the
(3:02) rules tab this is going to be where we
(3:04) are setting up the rules and deciding
(3:06) when players should or should not get
(3:09) access to your facility if we go to the
(3:11) edit page here the first setting here
(3:14) will be to allow pincode access or not
(3:17) allow pin code access under the rule
(3:19) type next we’ll be able to decide if
(3:22) this rule is time specific so if we
(3:24) enable that we are going to be able to
(3:27) decide the days of the week that this
(3:29) rule should apply to and also the start
(3:32) time and the end time so if we only need
(3:34) to set up rules on the weekdays or
(3:37) weekends or specific days of the week
(3:40) we’ll be able to decide that here and
(3:42) then we can choose the start time and
(3:44) the end time for this specific rule
(3:46) below that we’ll be able to decide our
(3:48) buffer minutes for the reservation start
(3:51) and the reservation end what these
(3:53) settings are going to do are decide how
(3:56) much time prior to the reservation or
(3:58) after the Reser ation the memb PIN code
(4:01) should still give them access so if we
(4:03) want to give players access to our
(4:05) facility maybe 15 minutes before their
(4:08) reservation actually starts this is
(4:10) going to be how we can decide that next
(4:12) we are going to be deciding the courts
(4:15) that the specific rule is going to apply
(4:17) to and also the groups this rule is
(4:20) going to apply to so in this example
(4:22) here I have an access point just to get
(4:24) to court one so I’m just adding Court
(4:27) one to this rule maybe you haveen an
(4:29) access point that gives access to courts
(4:32) 1 2 and three and there’s one door that
(4:36) those players can access to get to
(4:38) either of these three courts in that
(4:40) case we’ll just want to make sure all of
(4:42) the courts that are given access based
(4:45) on this access point are selected here
(4:47) when we are creating this rule the next
(4:50) page is going to be the PIN codes page
(4:53) this is going to be basically where we
(4:54) get a master list of all of our players
(4:57) and all of the PIN codes if we need to
(4:59) search for a specific player to get
(5:01) their pin code we can search for them
(5:03) here and we also have the ability to
(5:06) reset their pin code if we need to
(5:08) change it for any reason the last tab
(5:10) here is going to just be an errors tab
(5:13) so if there are any errors that come up
(5:15) at any point during this integration you
(5:18) will be able to see them logged here so
(5:20) if you do have any issues and you want
(5:23) to just give some additional information
(5:25) on that error either to court reserves
(5:27) customer success team or Brio this is
(5:30) going to be where you can find that
(5:31) information so that goes over all of the
(5:34) setup that is needed at this point once
(5:36) we have rules created and once we have
(5:38) the API key added to our organization
(5:41) the PIN codes are going to start showing
(5:43) for players once they are booking
(5:45) reservations or registering into any
(5:48) events so next I want to just briefly go
(5:51) over where you can see PIN codes from
(5:54) the admin side and then also where
(5:56) players can see their PIN codes when
(5:58) they are on the member portal so from
(6:00) the admin side we’ll be able to see a
(6:02) player’s pin code when we are on their
(6:04) account so under the details tab we’re
(6:07) now going to have this pin code section
(6:09) where we can see the player’s PIN code
(6:11) and we can also reset their pin code if
(6:14) needed we’ll also be able to see their
(6:16) pin code when we are looking at
(6:18) reservations or events from the
(6:20) scheduler when we have a reservation if
(6:23) we hover over it and we go to the view
(6:25) players page we are now going to have a
(6:28) pin code column on this table here so we
(6:30) can very quickly see players PIN codes
(6:33) and this will apply to events as well so
(6:36) if we have an event date on the
(6:37) scheduler we hover over it and we go to
(6:40) the view registran page we are also
(6:42) going to have that same column there so
(6:44) we can quickly see players PIN codes the
(6:47) last page that I will go over is on the
(6:50) event list so if we go to event on the
(6:52) sidebar and we go to list here if we go
(6:56) to an event and we click on a specific
(6:59) event dat
(7:00) we will now have a view PIN codes button
(7:02) up here and when we click on that we are
(7:05) now going to have a page here that will
(7:07) show us every registrant for this event
(7:10) date and also the PIN code associated
(7:12) with their account so that goes over all
(7:15) of the places we would see a players pin
(7:17) code from the admin side next I will
(7:19) jump over to the member portal and show
(7:22) you where players will be able to see
(7:24) their pin code all right so from the
(7:26) players perspective there is also going
(7:28) to be multiple places where they’ll be
(7:30) able to see their pin code the first
(7:33) place is going to be on the personal
(7:35) information page so if we go to their
(7:37) menu and we click the personal
(7:40) information option they will now see
(7:42) their pin code on this page under the
(7:44) personal information Tab and they will
(7:47) also be able to see their pin code on
(7:49) the my bookings page under each booking
(7:52) that they have so if we go back to that
(7:54) menu and we go over to my bookings they
(7:57) will now see the PIN code for for each
(7:59) reservation or each event that they are
(8:02) booked or registered into we’ll also be
(8:04) able to see our family members PIN codes
(8:07) from this page as well so if we go to
(8:10) the edit registration page to see all of
(8:12) the family members that are registered
(8:14) into this event we’ll be able to see the
(8:16) PIN code for both myself and any
(8:19) additional family members I have added
(8:21) to this event here all right so that
(8:24) goes over the Breo integration again we
(8:26) do have two articles going over this
(8:29) integ ation in our knowledge base so if
(8:31) you’d like to take a look feel free to
(8:33) click the book icon in the top right
(8:35) corner and if you have any additional
(8:37) questions you can always reach out to
(8:39) our customer success team by clicking
(8:41) this green icon right here

What Can You Do with the CourtReserve + Brivo Integration?

Here are the top features and benefits of our latest Brivo integration:

Effortless Facility Access Control:

  • Remote Access: Grant or revoke access remotely for players and staff, ensuring smooth operations even when facilities are unattended.
  • Smart Scheduling: Automatically assign access permissions to the appropriate entry points based on court reservations, ensuring players can enter the facility and access their reserved court at the right time.
  • PIN & Mobile Credentials: Players receive a unique, 6-digit PIN code to use for facility entry. This reusable PIN simplifies access, eliminating the need for physical keys or fobs.

Enhanced Facility Security

  • 24/7 Monitoring: Track access activity in real-time, gaining full visibility into who’s entering your facility and when. Note: Access activity and audit trails are not directly integrated into CourtReserve. Admins must log into Brivo to view this information.
  • Customizable Permissions: Set access rules based on day of the week, time of day, or specific areas of your facility.
  • Audit Trails: Access comprehensive logs to ensure compliance and security for your club.
